At Thomstead Studio, we create photography that celebrates craftsmanship—whether it's a thoughtfully designed home, a beautifully prepared meal, or the work of someone who has dedicated years to perfecting their craft.

We are a husband-and-wife creative studio based just outside Chicago, bringing together photography, styling, and art direction to create timeless imagery for interior designers, architects, builders, hospitality brands, and makers.

Thomstead Studio is named for our family and inspired by the idea of home. Our name—pronounced like homestead—is a quiet reminder that beautifully made things deserve to be experienced, not simply photographed.
